00:00You know, I think of Bobby in Chicago, you know, I think of the song Shooting Star.

00:04I mean, he was a comic, man.

00:06He was a star, a shooting star that came through people's lives in Chicago during the 2005 season was the start.

00:16And it was an amazing, amazing time, to tell you the truth.

00:20I have so many thoughts and memories about him.

00:22So why don't you just ask me some questions and we can get into some stuff.

00:26Well, you know, I think the main question that it would just be, you know, you want to celebrate a person at this point, 44 years old, so young.

00:38But, Don, what's your favorite memory of Bobby?

00:42What stood out to you that year?

00:46102 miles an hour, his first pitch, right?

00:49Yeah, well, I remember the first night he came in.

00:53You know, we saw him in spring training.

00:54We knew he was doing well.

00:56The rap on Bobby was, he was a little different.

01:01He was a character.

01:03He had personality.

01:05He was having fun.

01:07He was doing that.

01:08And we allowed that.

01:10You know, he wanted him to be himself.

01:12But I think what was lucky about, you know, hey, listen, the night he came out, there was oohs and ahs from everybody.

01:18He probably was ahead of his time.

01:20And now it seems like there's three or four guys in every bullpen that can do what Bobby kind of started.

01:28You know, but Bobby, he passed an awful lot of life in 44 years, you know.

01:41But I say to him was a idol.

01:42That's good to be lucky to be above.

01:43Well, I'm going to spend any time on 50.

01:49So I can't imagine a song logistical thing.
