What do you dislike about Android Studio?

The drawbacks of the android studio are that. It takes a lot of space and at least 8GB RAM. Then it will run smoothly on the system; sometimes, it takes so much time to load and makes your system slow. It stores lot of cache in your system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top IDE for Mobile Application Development"
What do you like best about Android Studio?

The best thing about the android studio is its regular updates and fixation of errors. Every update comes with better UI understanding, making it easy for the developer to understand. Even, if new developers join Android Studio, they don't feel any hesitation using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

The main problem with the Android Studi IDE is, regardless of improving UI for better development. It consumes a lot of memory. I wouldn't recommend that any developer with low specs laptop use Android Studio IDE, as it takes a lot of RAM to boot and build an application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is built open source and so it has nice documentation which helps beginners to start working on it easily and quickly. I also like the debugging of it which is essential and Android studio has made sure it has every single features for users to debug their app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best For Developing Native Android Apps."
What do you like best about Android Studio?

This is a good and preferred way of creating native Android apps, and the best thing about Android Studio is that it comes with all the tools for developing, running, and testing. And the other best thing is the Android Emulator that comes with Android Studio. It works fast and it has all the tools we need to emulate a phone. It comes with all the Android versions along with Android Phone, Android Wear, Android TV, and Android Auto options. It also has lots of useful plugins that we can use. It has two basic light and dark mode themes, but we can still use more themes by installing new theme plugins. Also, Android Studio can be installed on any OS like Windows, Linux, or Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

The main thing I dislike about Android Studio is that it takes up lots of memory and requires a computer with lots of RAM to run it. Also, in every new update, there are lots of bugs appearing here and there, and sometimes my project won't sync correctly, so I have to clear the cache and restart it every time it happens.
