Am using CATIA for the past three years. The best thing about CATIA is it has the best surface modeling tools, and we can model complex geometries more easily.FEA tools are used to analyze the designed part and give accurate results; with that data, we can analyze the product's performance, and any modifications required can be done at the design stage itself. UI is not user-friendly. Initially, when I switched from SOLIDWORKS to CATIA, it is not comfortable with using the tools. It looks difficult to perform some operations when compared to other CAD modeling software. For Eg. Using the zoom-in and the zoom-out option is not comfortable comparatively. The only point to be disliked about CATIA is that the controls used for CAD modelling is not very easy to use. The controls required to create the 3D model are not as simple as other CAD tools and need proper practice before executing and designing the CAD model as per the requirement.
