As an animator, you want as much control as possible in every movement and action. While a lot of variety of actions and movements is offered, it's limited. Also, the image loader is Ceros branded with a cost to have it removed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its easy for designers to use. We are able to create good looking grahpics, but you need to really get used to the system before being proficient at it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Charging for ongoing support. I don't understand why we have to pay Ceros when we have support questions. We're already paying a license fee, and want to use the product, but in order to get help, we have to pay even more. This makes the total cost of ownership really high.

- Their embeds are really large in size, meaning that it is slow to load and unoptimized for mobile phones.

- Mobile rendering is an afterthought. You have to create a second interactive graphic and you have to have your page call the mobile version when the browser gets smaller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their pricing makes Ceros a hard sell. I had a call with a representative when Ceros was about to change their pricing plan, and it seemed as if they are simply attempting to see how high they could raise their service fees for a given brand. With so many amazing tools available on the web for free, it's only a matter of time before Ceros' intuitive web tools are given to the public by a savvy competitor. I liked the ability to collaborate with other designers/content creators on my team in real time. As a project manager it was great to see how things were coming along and also I could jump in and work together on a project with remote employees.

There were a few bugs here and there that I let tech support know about. The product crashed a few times on me when I tried to copy and paste things, and I also had an issue with the editor showing things in one font/color in the editor but something different in the preview. I also did not like how you preform product updates at 5 or 6pm EST during the week, an update in the middle of the night or on the weekend would have worked better for me.

You added an icon feature which was really nice, but I had trouble searching/navigating it. Something that has categories or the ability to save your favorite icons would be helpful.

Copying and pasting from word was not very streamlined, it would jumble characters, add strange spacing and also did not handle smart quotes well. I completed understand that content editors across platforms often have that problem but I think the ability to paste as plain text would have helped solve this problem.

Ceros has a lot of advantages of creating well funtionning websites, with easy workflow for people who are designers. I like that it is fast to understand and really fast to learn its uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only issue I encounter is that Ceros has a lot of functions that make the software obvious that it is Ceros, if that is your intention I have no issues. I think there needs to be an easy manual page or something about different resolutions and canvas sized images upload into the ceros platform - for me the highresolution or large canvas didn't always upload as sharply or 100% like I thought it would.
