What problems is 5X solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing data synchronization was one of our biggest challenge. We manually coordinated syncs with our warehouse modeling jobs, incorporating a time buffer to avoid overlap, thus increasing data latency. Implementing this on the 5X data platform helped us improve our performance with its integrated experience. "Great company for startups"

What do you like best about 5X?

5X built an end-to-end data platform, with 0 data platform resources needed from 28.

5X allows us to see ROI from data much faster

For startups, if you are running on a tight budget, I can't recommend 5X more especially if you are based in the US. 5X offers 50% less total cost of ownership than if you built and maintained your platform inhouse.

Also, 5X serves as a fully managed data platform - from getting the data into the database, performing transforms, and visualizing the data for business teams. If we had to do this ourselves, we’d have to sign multiple vendors and would take over 6-8 months to set up. With 5X we were up and running in no time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 5X?

5X was able to accomodate US hours but if you are on US PST time there's less overlapping time for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 5X solving and how is that benefiting you?

5X provides a one stop shop solution for startups. Startups always run on a tight budget but still we need to have data pipeline built up and be able to analyze data easily. There's a many tools out there and it's such a headache to figure out which one to use and spend time to negotiate. 5X has significantly transformed Upright’s analytics and decision-making process. Previously, we relied on manual data collation and cleaning, but with 5X we were able to build an automated process that provides a comprehensive 360° overview of our business. 5X augmented our capacity, allowing our internal teams to concentrate on other critical initiatives. Their data platform, equipped with all necessary components out-of-the-box, eliminated the need to integrate disparate data vendors. What do you like best about 5X?

5X has been very helpful in our process of cleaning up our snowflake. The platform and consultancy has made it easy to keep our data transformations in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 5X?

The main downside is that I prefer the fivetran UI compared to the 5x platform. The fivetran platform gives an overview of syncs and is easier/quicker to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 5X solving and how is that benefiting you?

5X has been improving most of our data ingestion. They have provided cleaner code for incremental loads and the ability to easily ingest new tables in python. 5X has also been assisting the migration of all of our logic that was previously in Tableau / Tableau Prep / Alteryx to DBT. 5X ingestion is very intuitive user interface, works as expected, incredible support from the 5X team. The setup is easy! We use it for almost all our customers who need a data stack in minutes.

What do you like best about 5X?

5X is built with the objective of making data simple, and they have been successfully doing so for us. We leverage 5X as a one stop solution for all our data needs. Their platform is clean and super easy to use, helping us manage all data related tasks from a single pane instead of toggling between multiple tools.

With 5X onboarded, we are able to have scalable data analytics capabilities without having any data team in-house. Originally our dashboards were inconsistent having different values for the same metrics across different dashboards. They helped us streamline the logic across all dashboards forming a single source of truth. They also helped us optimize our BigQ, bringing down our monthly costs by 65%.
