✈️The Argus Way ✈️ October is #EmployeeOwnershipMonth, and at Argus Companies, employee ownership isn’t just how we're structured — it’s how we show up for our projects and for each other. In this video, Amanda Mesa, P.E., Civil Engineer at Argus Consulting, Inc., shares what it’s like to work at a company where everyone has a hand and a vested interest in what we build. “Employee ownership really makes it to where you have more of an invested approach to the things you're doing. You see how your work impacts everyone else, and you’re part of that ownership.” Being 100% employee-owned means every employee-owner has a stake in our success and a shared responsibility to help us keep improving. That sense of shared purpose drives how we collaborate, mentor, innovate, and grow together. Ownership gives us a reason to think bigger, work smarter, and look out for one another as we design our future. 💡 Employee ownership is good for businesses, employees, and communities — and we’re proud to stand alongside 14 million Americans fueling the future through shared ownership. #ESOP #EmployeeOwned #EngineeringCareers #JoinOurESOP #EOM

🧯 Fire Prevention Week🧯 This week is Fire Prevention Week, established by the NFPA to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention; a mission that's especially critical in high-risk fuel environments. At Argus Consulting, Inc., fire protection is a critical part of how we help clients safeguard fuel infrastructure and maintain regulatory compliance. Our team designs, evaluates, and upgrades systems that protect lives, assets, and the environment through: ✅ Fire protection system design and code compliance ✅ System evaluations and upgrade design for existing facilities ✅ Custom transition planning to fluorine-free (F3) firefighting foams ✅ Training and support for AFFF phase-out and evolving regulations Whether it's designing new systems or managing the industry's shift to PFAS-free solutions, we help clients stay ahead of risk, protecting people, facilities, and operations. Jason brings more than nine years of experience with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), where he managed large-scale fueling programs, led technical teams, and helped shape DoD fueling standards. A U.S. Army veteran who served as a Sergeant and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jason combines first-hand military experience with a passion for advancing technology, navigating an ever-changing industry, and helping clients overcome challenges. He holds a B.S. in Project Management (Cum Laude) from Bellevue University. In his new role, Jason will lead and grow Argus’ Military Business Unit, focusing on project development, strategic planning, and building lasting client relationships. 💬 “I’m excited to join Argus and continue working alongside Kent and other team members I’ve collaborated with in the past. From those experiences, I knew Argus had a positive culture built on collaboration and open discussion—a place where challenges are solved together with clients in mind. I’m looking forward to continuing to develop and grow our military sector and delivering meaningful results for our clients.” – Jason Burrell Outside of work, Jason is a proud dad of three daughters (ages 10, 14, and 16) who all play competitive softball—so most of his free time is spent at the ballpark cheering them on. 🥎 Comment below and help us welcome Jason to the Argus team! #ArgusConsulting #MilitaryFueling #Leadership #TeamArgus #NewTeamMember #MilitaryVeteran

⛳️ 3rd Annual Argus JET-A Scramble ⛳ What better way to celebrate National Golf Month than with a day on the greens at Eagles' Landing Golf Course! The day was filled with friendly competition, questionable swings, and plenty of “mulligan magic.” No sand trap could bury the good vibes, and the only real rough was deciding who had the best excuse for a missed putt. 🏌️♂️ 🏆 Winners of the day: 🏌️Closest to the Pin – Christian Tosterud 🏌️Longest Putt – Daniel Schnelle 🏌️Longest Drive – Zach Galloway, MBA 🏌️“Best at Being the Worst” Team – Kent Bredehoeft, Zach Galloway, MBA, Michael Heppner, and Matthew Knight, PE 🏌️JET-A Cup Champions – Christopher Veit, Christian Tosterud, Seth Newbold, P.E., and Ian Jones, P.E. The real win came from the mulligans: we raised $420 (our highest yet!) that will go straight into our “Start of Positive Change” Jar to support the Veterans Community Project. 💛 A huge shoutout to Garrett Gjerstad for organizing and planning another hole-in-one event. 👏 Here’s to great golf, even better company, and driving positive change—on and off the course. 🏌️♂️✨ #JETAScramble #NationalGolfMonth #DrivingChange #CompanyCulture #VeteransCommunityProject
