Last week I had the opportunity to attend Drataverse in San Francisco—a truly unique gathering of security professionals focused on the GRC space. It was energizing to connect with such a niche community and dive deep into where our field is heading. Some key takeaways that stood out for me: 1️⃣ Automate, automate, automate. The best way to scale productivity and reduce the drag of manual work is to lean into automation—freeing security teams to focus on strategy and impact. 2️⃣ AI is front and center. Drata is empowering employees with a “blank check” to purchase AI tools that enhance their work. (Of course, I hope they’re still running it all through their TPRM program! 😅) On a lighter note—I was also one of the lucky winners of a custom Drata Lego set 🧩🚀 (definitely a highlight of the day!).
