At Oracle #AIWorld, IBM introduced new AI agents that integrate seamlessly with Oracle applications — giving clients more choice and flexibility in how they work. Three new agents developed by IBM Consulting are now available on the Oracle Fusion Applications AI Agent Marketplace. IBM is also expanding the ecosystem around Oracle Fusion Applications with the release of new supply chain and HR agents built on watsonx Orchestrate. Together, these agents help businesses automate intelligently, accelerate productivity, and deliver results across the enterprise. Today at IBM's #TechXchange conference, I announced IBM's latest AI partnership with Anthropic. Less than 5% of enterprises are getting ROI from their AI investments today and, together, IBM and Anthropic are focused on breaking down those barriers to using AI effectively, efficiently and safely. I had a chance to sit down with Anthropic's CEO Dario to discuss our partnership, vision and more.

🚀🔥IBM and Anthropic announced a new partnership today to integrate Claude into IBM’s software portfolio, beginning with an AI-first IDE designed for enterprise development (now in private preview for select clients). Early testing with more than 6,000 IBM developers shows average efficiency gains of 45%, achieved within the compliance and security frameworks enterprises depend on. As AI agents take center stage, we’re also seeing the rise of a new Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC). To help enterprises build securely, IBM has published Architecting Secure Enterprise AI Agents with MCP, verified by Anthropic — a structured guide for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise AI agents safely and at scale. We’re also contributing our enterprise technology expertise to advance open standards for AI deployment — including best practices, reference architectures, and open-source tooling drawn from IBM’s experience deploying AI across thousands of client environments. Together, IBM and Anthropic are helping move enterprise AI from experimentation to operational reality — from pilot projects to governed, production-grade systems. 🔗Announcement: https://lnkd.in/e_Nq-Cxd 🤖 Agent Dev.
