Amendoim, the adorable dog who plays Caramelo, practically showed up asking for a job. That’s how trainer Luis Estrelas describes how this natural-born star joined the project, which not only celebrates a Brazilian cultural symbol - the caramel mutt dog - but also the unique connection between dogs and humans. After months of searching for the perfect dog to play Caramelo, Amendoim appeared at the doorstep of Luis’s brother, Jeová, and the rest is history. On set, Amendoim redefined "a dog's life" with swims, physical therapy, and even his own dressing room. A true star in the making! This heartwarming drama tells the story of a promising chef (Rafael Vitti) and a caramel-colored stray dog, Caramelo (Amendoim), who become best friends after an encounter that changes their lives forever.

🎬 A new chapter in animation begins with the launch of the Mark Gustafson Stop-Motion Studios at GOBELINS Paris, dedicated to training future animation artists. Co-funded by Guillermo del Toro and Netflix, and developed with GOBELINS Paris's exceptional academic leadership, the studio honors Mark Gustafson's legacy as a stop-motion master and Pinocchio co-director. The initiative was unveiled in Paris with Guillermo del Toro, Ted Sarandos, Valérie Moatti, and Cecile Blondel, whose expertise was crucial to the project. Animation, in all its forms, is a vital cultural element worldwide, including in France. This collaboration embodies the belief that creativity flourishes when visionary creators, top educators, and committed partners come together. It represents a new milestone in the enduring relationship between Netflix and GOBELINS Paris, enhancing student connections to the animation industry. The Mark Gustafson Stop-Motion Studios elevate this mission, supporting the craft of animation and the storytellers who will shape its future.
