  • Yesterday, Team ReUse of Reconomy joined the Drapers Inner Circle Summit in London. Colleagues from ReBound and Advanced Supply Chain Group Ltd connected with some of fashion retail’s leading executives, founders, and directors, engaging in meaningful discussions, exchanging strategic insights, and exploring the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry’s future. Our CEO, Rakhshan Zahid, took the stage alongside Gabriele Dirvanauskas from Drapers to discuss an increasingly pivotal topic: “Beyond the Return: Fashion’s Circular Journey.” In a dynamic conversation followed by an interactive Q&A with senior leaders from across fashion retail, they explored how brands, retailers, and technology providers can embrace recommerce models, scale circularity, and extend product lifecycles; from resale and rental to repair and recycling. Key themes included:  • Why now is the moment for brands to embrace recommerce at scale  • The operational challenges of extending product lifecycles  • How to inspire consumers to engage with pre-worn fashion  • The implications of EPR for packaging and textiles  • Balancing sustainability with business growth A big thank you to everyone who joined the session, shared insights, and helped move the conversation on fashion’s circular future forward. 📸 Rakhshan Zahid, Stuart Greenfield, Caroline Ellis, Nick Bevan #DrapersInnerCircleSummit #CircularEconomy

🌍Celebrating a double win at the National Sustainability Awards 2025🌍 We’re proud to share that Reconomy and Reconomy Connect have been recognised with two major awards at the 5th Annual National Sustainability Awards, a fantastic moment of recognition for our people, partners, and our commitment to making the circular economy a practical reality. ♻️ Reconomy: Provider of the Year Reconomy was named Provider of the Year for our leadership in helping businesses embrace circularity at scale. From reducing carbon emissions and preventing waste to redesigning supply chains and decoupling growth from virgin resource use, the judges recognised that sustainability isn’t a bolt-on; it’s at the heart of our business model. This award is a proud validation of our purpose in action, creating real-world environmental, social and commercial value. ♻️ Reconomy Connect: Sustainable Packaging Award Reconomy Connect, a specialist Reconomy brand delivering end-to-end waste and resource management, was honoured with the Sustainable Packaging Award for its groundbreaking collaboration with Marston’s, one of the UK’s largest pub chains. Together, Reconomy Connect and Marston's set out to rethink packaging waste by introducing a scalable glass reuse model across the hospitality sector. Since the initiative launched in September 2024, we’ve seen: -Over 22,000 bottles successfully reused - Expansion from 10 to 150+ sites across the North West and Wales - A ripple effect, with other major pub groups now actively exploring similar approaches This partnership is a prime example of what can happen when innovation, purpose, and collaboration meet. By prioritising reuse over recycling, and designing systems that reduce unnecessary materials at source, Reconomy Connect is helping its customers move further up the waste hierarchy, and closer to their sustainability goals. 🌍 These awards reflect the incredible work being carried out across Reconomy to make circularity more accessible, more actionable, and more impactful. Let’s continue to #ThinkCircular, #CloseTheGap and #MoveTheDate, because when we work together, we can build a world where resources are conserved and growth is achieved through sustainable means.

  • ReBound’s recent research in the fashion and apparel industry reveals that between 22% and 44% of returned products never reach another consumer. When we look closer, 1 in 4 returned items ends up being discarded, underscoring the urgent need for circular returns management practices. This represents a significant missed opportunity for both revenue recovery and sustainability progress. ReBound’s global returns network, seamlessly connected with local processing hubs, enables brands to achieve smart sorting, faster processing and refunds, and efficient restocking, ensuring that products suitable for resale return to the market quickly. For items that are no longer in a resaleable condition, we offer a range of circularity-driven solutions, including repair, second-hand resale, rental programs, donation, and recycling, helping brands prevent valuable items from becoming waste. 📊 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁 (top-right corner), and reach out to us to learn more about how ReBound’s smart and sustainable returns management can transform your reverse logistics.

  • 📊𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂? The poll results were fascinating (and a little relatable too 😅). But beyond the fun, there’s a serious side: every return has an environmental cost. From the extra packaging of the Bracketer, to the high-volume impact of the Impulse Buyer, each shopper type leaves its own footprint. That’s why we’ve pulled together a new blog: Sustainable Returns: How Different Types of Returners Impact the Planet In it, we break down the 6 key returner personas, explore their sustainability impact, and share what retailers can do to reduce returns without losing customer satisfaction. 📖 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://okt.to/KvHfDN
