According to a 2025 study from Maven Clinic, a staggering 92% of working parents experience burnout. Supporting mental health at work isn’t just good for employees, it’s good for business. When caregivers feel supported, they can do their best work—for both their teams and their families. What the report data tells us: 💡 Flexibility matters. 60% of parents in supportive workplaces can adjust their hours, allowing them the autonomy to get the work when it works for them. (There for school pick-up to sending emails after bedtime). 💡 Hybrid work is a game-changer. 40% of parents in supportive companies have hybrid options, compared to only 29% elsewhere. Hybrid allows for IRL team brainstorms while other days you can skip the commute. Win win. 💡 Strong parental leave = stronger retention. 84% of employees return after leave when they’re supported through clear communication, phased returns, and re-entry programs. 💡Comprehensive benefits build loyalty. From childcare subsidies to mental health support, meaningful benefits drive retention and help parents thrive. Read the full article via Maven: https://lnkd.in/gVUcY4d4 #MentalHealthAwarenessDay

A new study from KPMG notes that more women are leaving the workforce, pushed out by a lack of childcare support and stricter RTO policies. College-educated mothers with young children seeing the biggest declines. With child care costs rising (increasing at about twice the rate of inflation!) combined with more return-to-office mandates, parents are facing big shifts in managing both work and family. ❓ What will help women return to paid work? Supportive benefits for parents (like child care stipends, robust PTO and paid parental leave) and the flexibility for parents to bring their best selves to work, whether that’s remote, hybrid, in-office or a mix that works for them. AI has reshaped hiring, but remember: not all tools are created equal. In 2024, 90% of HR leaders say they’ve adopted AI, but forward-thinking teams are leaning into some applications...and leaving others behind. What’s in: predictive hiring, skill-based matching, inclusive job descriptions, and AI that enhances candidate experiences. What’s out: black-box algorithms, rigid resume screeners, and unvalidated tools. AI isn’t replacing the hiring process. It's helping teams hire smarter, faster, and fairer.
