Big news: Zeffy is now live in the UK! 🇬🇧 We’re thrilled to partner with Swiftaid to bring UK charities the first zero-fee, all-in-one fundraising and donor management platform. It’s already incredible to see so many UK charities experiencing the impact firsthand! 🎉 “Zeffy has made fundraising refreshingly simple and genuinely empowering for our small CIC,” said Kate Hamilton, Founder and Managing Director of New Leaf Together, a Winchester nonprofit supporting young people with autism and learning difficulties. “We’ve kept every pound donated, set up campaigns in minutes, and our supporters love knowing their full gift goes directly to young people with additional needs." 📖 Read all about it: https://lnkd.in/eSvvqXmA

  • Play for Jade honors the legacy of Jade Lee Marasigan by helping young people access critical mental health services. Their fundraisers support therapy sessions, psychiatrist visits, and transportation to appointments. But fundraising through Stripe and other platforms came with high fees. The more they raised, the more they lost. That’s when founder and president John Marasigan made the switch to Zeffy. Since then, Play for Jade has raised over $9,511 and saved $476 in fees, ensuring 100% of contributions go directly toward care. “Zeffy empowers us to maximize our impact by giving us 100% of our donations and making fees optional for our donors,” John says. • In the face of unimaginable devastation in Gaza, hope is being kept alive — one hospital bed at a time. Doctors Against Genocide has raised over $400,000 on Zeffy to support the expansion of Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital — one of the few remaining lifelines for thousands in desperate need of medical care. As hospitals in Gaza struggle under the weight of war and humanitarian collapse, this work is a reminder that even from thousands of miles away, we can make a difference. • Youth travel baseball is expensive. Flyers 12U wanted a different path. In 2024, Coach Mark and Sonya Matheny took over the team in Georgetown, Indiana. They compete at the AAA level, which usually means high costs for families. Their goal was simple: keep families’ fees low while the youth play at a high level. Donations came in across Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal. Fees piled up quickly, tracking got messy, and money got lost in the shuffle. Then Flyers 12U switched to Zeffy. That’s when everything changed. Sonya replaced three apps with one platform. Clean campaign pages replaced time consuming flyers. Donors use one link and see their impact right away. With Zeffy’s 100% free fundraising, every dollar raised now goes to bats, fields, and travel. “If you are a coach of a team and collect fees or fundraise, you absolutely need to use Zeffy,” Sonya says. “This platform has made my job as the administrator stress free and easy. It’s a one stop shop for all your fundraising needs from top to bottom.” Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/g-H5n4MK

When Shaleen and Shilpi Shah set out to start a sanctuary for abused farm animals, they discovered a major problem: there were no resources on how to do it. With no playbook to follow, they built their own and founded Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary in 2015. From that experience, in partnership with journalist-turned-Executive Director Mckenzee Griffler, they started The Open Sanctuary Project, a hub of free guides now helping sanctuaries around the world get started, and keep animals safe and healthy. Still, one major roadblock stood in the way: fundraising was draining their modest budget. Fees from PayPal and Anedot were costing them hundreds of dollars every year, money that should have gone directly to animals in need. Now that they’ve joined Zeffy, every single dollar goes right back to their mission. “We first learned about Zeffy from an animal sanctuary who was singing their praises,” Griffler says. “We didn't believe that such a platform was possible at first—it felt like we were looking back at our own mission of providing a service without imposing fees, except for our own benefit.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gQsmvTCy

Fall isn’t just back-to-school season. For nonprofits, it’s the busiest time for giving. Why do donors show up more in the fall? How do recurring donors behave compared to one-time givers? And what does the data really say about year-end fundraising trends? Our President, Sébastien Boyer, joined Dr. Rob Harter on The Nonprofit Leadership Podcast to dig into Zeffy’s benchmark data and share insights on: - Why fall giving looks different across nonprofit sectors - The challenge (and opportunity) of retaining recurring donors - How simple tools + smart data can improve donor engagement If you’re a nonprofit leader gearing up for year-end, this conversation is worth a listen. 🎧 https://lnkd.in/eJeYrR-G

In just 72 hours, over $50K was raised on Zeffy to help Sergeant David Hong access life-saving cancer treatment—after his health insurer initially denied coverage twice. Thanks to overwhelming support and visibility on social media, the insurer reversed its decision and is now covering David’s medical expenses. In an incredible act of generosity, David and HunterSeven Foundation is paying it forward and donating the full $50K to support fellow veterans facing similar battles with healthcare coverage. Before Zeffy, they were fundraising to survive, and now they're fundraising to grow. As a volunteer network of farmers, chefs, and scientists, the Berry Good Food Foundation connects its community in San Diego, California, to local, sustainable food. Berry Good Food Foundation has already brought in over $89K and saved more than $4.4K in fees with Zeffy. That money goes directly into their work: - Offering free cooking classes with healthy ingredients - Managing over 25 community gardens - Hosting free, multidisciplinary panels on sustainable food-related topics - Awarding grant money to area schools for garden projects They're building a stronger and more resilient community, and Zeffy is how they get to do it all fee-free! We love seeing Zeffy users featured in the local news 💙 “It’s given me a sense of purpose being around my brothers and sisters.” That’s how Greg Burian, Air Force veteran and president of St. Louis Blues Warrior Hockey describes what this nonprofit has meant to him. The organization creates a powerful space for injured and disabled veterans to heal, connect, and compete through hockey. It’s not just about the game. It’s about saving lives, restoring purpose, and building community. They’re now raising funds to cover gear, travel, and ice time. That’s why Zeffy ensures 100% of every donation goes directly to the cause.
