    BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ClariFI™, a leading provider of software and services focused on quantitative portfolio management and research, announced today the opening of their El Segundo, California office and the hiring of additional staff to support their growing number of West Coast clients.

    Joining ClariFI’s Client Service team in El Segundo is Denise Winner. Denise brings a wealth of experience to ClariFI having had her own financial technology consulting firm for the past several years. Previously she worked at Transamerica in the fixed income analytics group and at Hull Trading and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Denise holds an MS in Computer Science from Brown University and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School. Denise also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

    On the business development side, Leonard Velez joins ClariFI from Thomson Financial where he held various Senior Account Management and Project Management roles. At Thomson he helped develop the firm’s Los Angeles office and was responsible for numerous enterprise-wide software deployments at the largest buy-side and sell-side firms. Leonard holds a BA in Political Science and English from Villanova University.
