Android implementation of HURRy and BPQ over Bytewalla for DTN
The HURRy (HUman Routines used for Routing) protocol, defines a probabilistic routing approach which infers and benefits from the social behaviour of nodes in disruptive networking environments. HURRy is based on PRoPHET but it incorporates the contact duration to the information retrieved from historical encounters among neighbours. It distinguishes between short and long contacts and introduces a novel and more meaningful rating system to evaluate the quality of each contact in human based deployments. Hurrywalla has been implemented as an evolution of the Bytewalla3 open source project, which is a DTN implementation for Android incorporating PRoPHET. Tecnalia has evolved this work so as to implement the HURRy protocol within the DTN stack. The HURRywalla release also incorporates the Publish/Query paradigm defined by BPQ, which allows dynamic content caching. This work has been conducted within the European FP7 SAIL project (Grant Agreement 257448). -

Through Hardcoder, Android APP can make good use of mobile phone hardware resources such as CPU frequency, Large Core, and GPU to improve APP performance. Hardcoder allows Android system to get more information from the APP in order to better provide system resources to Android APP. At the same time, due to the lack of implementation by the standard interface, the APP and the system can also realize the model adaptation and function expansion through the framework. Hardcoder framework can averagely optimize the performance of Wechat by 10%-30% in terms of Wechat startup, video delivery, mini program startup, and other highly-loaded scenes. Furthermore, it could also averagely optimize the performance of Mobile QQ by 10%-50% in terms of mobile QQ startup. -

Experimental implementation of high performance interactable views
This is an experimental implementation of a declarative API for handling fluid user interactions with views at 60 FPS in React Native. Here are some example use-cases for views that users can interact with. Swipeable card (a la Google Now) springing into place unless swiped away with enough force. Drawer snapping between closed and open with buttons appearing gradually as it's being dragged. Collapsible header that snaps to a smaller size as the content below is being scrolled. Chat heads (a la Facebook Messenger) that can be dragged around but snap to corners of the screen. All of these use-cases have views that continuously interact with the user's gestures. These interactions are normally physical in nature, having properties like springiness, friction, elasticity and damping. In order to feel natural on a touch device they need to run at 60 FPS. -
