Documentation issue: use of length stripping syntax: {item.title:40s} vs {item.title:.40s}

In the docsite Usage-Examples section in the Twitter example:

feed2exec add "My site on twitter" http://example.com/blog/feed --output exec --args 'tweet "{item.title:40s} {item.link:100s}"'

item length stripping is shown as:

{item.title:40s}

while later in the documentation in the Usage-Files-Configuration file in the configuration file example (in the "retweet hurricane news" subsection)

a different item length stripping example is used (a dot before the length):

{item.title:.40s}

Perhaps it should be the same (with dot) in both places.
