Configurable page view statistics retention period

Are there any plans to extend the functionality of the statistics page — in particular, allowing data acquisition beyond the default Last 30 days range? This could help switch from the external tools, like google analytics.

The documentation page doesn’t mention any options for changing this range, so I assume it's not currently possible.
