Introduce GraphQL support to the GitLab CLI
Problem to Solve
Currently the GitLab CLI relies on the go-gitlab library for access to the GitLab REST API. However, GitLab as an application implements some functions in GraphQL so supporting these features is currently not possible.
Proposal
In order to support upcoming GraphQL efforts like remote development and incident management we should develop a strategy for building in GraphQL support.
