Parentless widgets in `init` in UI

Platform : macOS/Linux/Windows
Problem Description : Some widgets appear upon running the ui.py and disappear instantly (ghost widgets). This might be due any of the followings:

.show() command is used before defining a parent for a certain widget.
a widget is created in the __init__ and yet to have a parent in self.

Solution (maybe): Take out everything out of __init__ or move widgets after their parent in self is created.
