“on bilocation”

if gender be a place
let me be everywhere but there
let me stand at the peak of all its mountains
lie me down at the bottom of its deepest river
sew me into each atom of air
knot me up with its tall and wild grasses
braid me into its topsoils and down down horizons
as if descent were an antidote to wounding
plant me in the black cloak of densest forest at night
feed me to all creatures that roam its cruel geography
scatter me across every cave, field, ocean and canyon
thresh me from all its natural born crops
tie me to its sky and force its sun to set
if gender be a place
let me be unfindable there
