Yasmine Seale is a writer and translator living in Paris. Her essays, poetry, visual art, and translations from Arabic and French have appeared widely. Current and forthcoming projects include a new translation of One Thousand and One Nights (W. W. Norton), translations of the poetry of Al-Khansa (NYU Press), and Agitated Air, co-written with Robin Moger, a collection of poems in response to Ibn Arabi (Tenement Press).
