About the Game

Welcome to the Nocturne's Veil, a horror game where your only chance of survival is... playing a music box? You find yourself trapped in a series of dream-like labyrinthine mazes, haunted by blind monsters that hunt you using only sound cues left by the music box.

Gameplay

Your only means of navigation and exploration is a mysterious music box. By winding it up, you emit sounds that reverberate through the maze, alerting the monsters to your location. You must carefully balance between moving forward and stopping, as making too much noise can lead to your demise.

• 2 Modes: the Classic mode, and the Hardcore mode (one life).
• Total Playtime: Usually about an hour or few, depending on your skill.
• Multiple Endings to unlock.

Development

Nocturne's Veil was developed in just a few days by a single person. While I generally think it's pretty decent and can be very tense in some situations, I cannot promise everyone will enjoy it. It also may have many bugs, feel free to report any you find in the comments or in the Discord.

Controls

Hold [LMB] to use the Music Box.

Press [TAB] to fix cursor.

Move [MOUSE] to look around.

(yes, that means no W,A,S,D controls, shocker)
