I think this is a very strong concept. I look forward to the 3D version.

Hey everyone - seems like Daisy Trains got featured on the itch home page - just a note to say this was made in 7 days as part of a low level game jam so there are definitely issues - sorry about that!

Really appreciate everyone's comments and taking the time to play the game - I'm currently working on a full 3D version of Daisy Trains ๐Ÿ’–

Sounds great!

It was nice until I had to wait very long to finish. The island 3 and 4 doesn't have a perfect solution and have too much to do :c

Yeah the level design isn't the greatest... ๐Ÿซฅ

Super fun game, but using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out was super annoying and confusing at times. Is there any way you could configure that using the keyboard?

You can use E and Q as well

wasd to move and qe to zoom in and out

Probably a bug:

- You can place a rail under cargo.

- Straight rails can be connected directly at right angles.

Oh yeah the rail system has bugs!! Nice

I think this is the best web game I've played! Very well done! :)

I've got the first seven islands unlocked and built. However all my trains are full of yellow goods with no more place to deposit them. I don't really understand what I can do here. If I remove the trains and put them back, they still have the yellow goods. Is this a softlock?

Having the same issue with blue goods. :(

You can swap the stations to send cargo back the other way... hopefully not bricked ๐Ÿ˜…

oh of course i didn't think of that

Idk if I did this right but it was fun. Nice game!

lol! You managed to bypass a bunch of the puzzles! Well done ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Coming from youtube, very cool game, really like the music

I have finally put all of the stuff into the final boxes, with a small amount of extra pink in the final rail loop. fun stuff.

nice!

(1 edit)

yes, there's a full extra train of pink and grey... :( my OCD isn't happy

great game :)

I love this game a lot, but I keep running into glitches. Trains will get messed up, and then at the end I always end up with extra cargo of one or two colors and missing a bit from another one.

Thanks a lot - yes unfortunately there are issues, the game was made from scratch in 7 days. But I might take this idea and build it into a complete game!

I would love that!

Great game! I love the trains and movement of cargo. I think the meta-puzzley aspects of the logistics across the world map is a cool idea, even if the jump from constrained puzzle game to semi unconstrained logistic puzzle is a bit jarring with some "design slop", especially once you realise you're expected to toggle station pick up/drop off, which seems like it can trivialise the track layouts if you want to play that way. I really like the ending too, even if it is a bit of a waiting game. I'm also not sure if you're expected to connect all 4 colours at once and let it run. It didn't seem doable, or at least quite challenging, so I just left yellow to last.

It's doable in two loops, one hitting the corners and one the middle pair.

Well done!

Looks really cool! Took me forever to figure out how to place all the components correctly though. :x

Thanks! I added some gifs in the screenshots to help learn how to play :D
