A GNU Emacs binary distribution for users who want to use Emacs natively in 64-Bit Windows (x86_64). This project will focus on providing unmodified, up-to-date (from git master and newest release), and optimized w64 binary builds. Aquamacs Emacs is a Mac-native distribution of the powerful Emacs text editor (versions 23+), featuring Plug&Play and a great UI. Aquamacs feels just right on the Mac, interacts well with other apps, while supporting Emacs' keys and Elisp packages.

This project provides clean, optimized w64 binary builds of the latest Emacs git snapshots with image support enabled. It is, however, not *the* official distribution of Emacs. Happy hacking!

ECB is a file/code browser for Emacs. It can be used to browse any type of file and supports parsing of Java, C, C++, Elisp and some other code like perl, TeX, LaTeX. All browsing windows are within one frame and they are deletion-protected (eg by C-x 1)

CC Mode is a GNU Emacs and XEmacs mode for editing C and other languages with similar syntax; currently C++, Objective-C, Java, CORBAs IDL, Pike, and AWK. It is a standard package in both GNU Emacs and XEmacs.

Workaround for the problem that exist with associating file types with programs located in other folders than the standard program folders in Windows Vista or Windows 7. It is specifically designed to make it possible to associate various file types with GNU Emacs (that is supposed to be located on a path that doesn't contain any space, and hence can't be located in the Program files folder), but the code can easily be modified and recompiled to make it possible to associate any file type with any program.

Winmacs is no official Emacs distribution (version 22.x),it's just a set of precompiled(using MSVC) w32-binaries and a installer(packaged with NSIS) for windows.

XEmacs is a highly customizable text editor and application development system. Its emphasis is on modern graphical user interface support and an open software development model.
