The API is implemented as a set of C++ interface classes full of pure virtual functions. When an application initializes the system it will return the interface that matches the header in the SDK used by that application. -

A compatibility layer between the Oculus SDK and OpenVR
Revive is a free compatibility layer between the Oculus SDK and OpenVR that allows you to play Oculus-exclusive games on your HTC Vive. For Revive to work, you need to have Oculus Home installed. Revive works with a host of games, the full list of which can be found here: https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/wiki/Compatibility-list. If you can add more games to the list, feel free to do so. -
