#542 Taskcoach an OS X 10.14 Mojave
Starting Taskcoach creates a number of errors, see attached screenshot. It seems to work so far, but when closing the app the data is saved, but taskcoach remains active and must be closed again, this time
without saving. It looks like no data is lost ..
I have spent a lot of time to find an alternative - but there is nothing comparable for my needs.
All I have seen and is advertized as alternatives to TaskCoach - for me limited, clumsy, data not local (in the cloud - save ?) and often monthly fees - no solution at all.
What are your plans ? Thank you for your help - regards Frank
I agree, Task Coach remains without any real replacement. But the development is basically stagnant. There's a chance of getting going again if we can get over the hump of converting the codebase to Python3 and then update the dependencies and graphical framework. I don't know about investigating this issue before that.
Jerome is the only one doing anything in this direction. If someone could recruit or hire a python developer to help us, that could make a difference.
That's all I can say today.
