I recently got a new laptop at work and transferred over to this new laptop. I have custom structures created on the old laptop. What file are those saved in? I'd also like to know this so that I can put it on our company SharePoint site and others can use those custom structures to look at data downloaded from flash memory from our electronics in our tools. Another request would be to support some data types in the custom structures that is not currently supported. 1. Other oddball data type sizes...

Hi. I need to be able to spilt data files into two seperate files so that 8-bit EPROMs can be separately programmed with the Odd and Even byte data. Could this be added as a tool? If so, might also be good to have the ability to split 32-bit data into the four separate byte files.

Hey Marcin, No worries, I love Hexplorer for the matrix-alike colors, and the lightness of the tool :) I'll see if it is possible to add the nice colors in HxD Tx

I am aware of these flaws. Unfortunatelly in this bug time required to put things right is something I cannot afford now. I am very sorry. I was considering removing the software, since it's age, and some great new free hex editing software appeared, but some people are still finding few uniqe features usefull.

Just figured it out, when I closed the window. I was afraid of write permissions in Program Files (x64) folder. I was curious of the file type recognise function. Well, I was looking primarily for custom headers structure to describe custom formats. Thank you :)

yes, AFAIR, structures are read when starting hexplorer process and saved on exit (this can be tricky if you have multiple instances open). Sorry, but I cannot recall if crypto->File_Type is editable.

Hello. I set up custom structures to describe and analyze custom binary formats. However, it seems these structures can exist only in current session. If I try to open another instance of Hexplorer, these structures are gone. The only place the structures show in is the instance used for structures creation. The structures are pretty complex and I do not want to lose it. Does it write structures automatically or only when closed? And how can I make those formats be recognised using Crypto => File...
