AngryIP Scanner is a tool designed to scan devices within a local network. It's not intended for scanning the entire "world wide web" as that would be an enormous task and also ethically and legally questionable. If you want to discover devices on the broader internet, you'd need to use a different type of tool or service. For example: Shodan: Shodan is a search engine that indexes devices and services on the internet. It can help you find specific types of devices, open ports, and more. However,...
My problem turned out to be a misspelled hostname in one of my bind configuration files.. All hostnames appear for me now.
I am having the same problem running v3.9.1. I used to see all my hostnames, but seems that since I updated, the hostnames disappeared?
Love Angry IP Scanner!!! Using v3.9.0. One (and only one of many) hostname on my network is missing (shows [n/a]). DNS resolves the correct hostname. Why might I be missing the one hostname? If it matters, the missing hostname belongs to a Tivo DVR. I have another Tivo on the network for which the hostname is reported correctly.

Windows 10 64-bit v. 3.7.4 The app remembers my display choices and column selections, as it should. It does not remember the scanned range which means that I am forced to re-enter it each time I run the app. If this is supposed to be a "feature" I think it should be reclassified as a bug.
Anton; I just downloaded the latest version of angry ip scanner and norton flags it as heuristic virus. I have excluded it from Norton control but am wondering if there is a way to do what is needed without appearing to norton to be something it is not (infected)?
