This is a Request For Enhancement, not a bug,
but: the next time someone does a sweep touching
most files, it would be nice to put an RCSID in
each file, so that when reporting problems with
the "current" version, or rather the one I got last,
I can instantly look at the source file to
discover which version I'm running.

I personally don't like RCS strings in code because they make generating patches less readable. I can understand why people using other development environments than I do would like to see this though, so I'll defer on this one for now.
