Which Megui folders should these 3 apps be placed in?!
GPAC- MP4Box overwrite in tools/mp4box
FDK-AAC in tools/fdkaac (choose x86 or x64 base your Windows). Open megui app, go to Options/External Programs tick box Enable FDK-AAC
DGDemux not support in Megui now, you can use it manually
Thanks for the clarifications. It will be useful for everyone.
My OS is Windows 7 x64. But still - I preferred to replace with the x86 versions of the archives you uploaded - due to issues discussed in one of the threads last year.
If I'm not mistaken - it turns out that ffmpeg.exe is causing the problem if it's x64. So I'm using ffmpeg.exe which is in Megui without any update because it's giving me a problem.
You can try here (download file over 120 mb) (copy to ffmpeg):
https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds/releases
My ffms2 file share above copy to ffms folder not ffmpeg folder
Zathor went back to FFmpeg v5.0.x due to some issues with v5.1.x

i use latest ver normally
It was due to some AVS test scripts he had that didn't work

Hello
Can you link to download "FFmpeg v5.0.x" to github (or elsewhere) - because it was posted https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds/releases - but it doesn't say which version to I'm testing. Because my available such file is the standard one that is with Megui - an old file with a size of 49.4 MB and it does not actually say in the properties of the file what version it is.
Of course "ffms2_ad42af1" is placed in "MeGUI\tools\ffms" folder. I know that.
I'm writing the steps I took to replicate last year's experiment.

Now what, give some advice on how to solve this problem?

your error relate directshowsource.dll. You load x86 .dll with x64 avs+ will got error. You need replace directshowsource.dll x86 to x64 in tools/avs/plugins
avs+ latest ver, and are you TDS oldman??

I replaced the files you mentioned with the ones from the x64 link.
A new error that is even more incomprehensible:

What does "TDS oldman" mean?! I have no idea what you're asking me?!
@seagate
Under Tools->Update so can you see if MeGUI use an x86 or x64 version of the tools in question. Make sure you have ticked the option 'Show all packages' at the lower right corner of that window.
If you wanna use x64 versions if possible, then enable the option 'Use x64tools if possible' under 'Options->External Programs'.
I do NOT recommend you use any different build (x86/x64) on the tools other then what MeGUI shows in the Update window.
For me, "Use x64tools if possible" was marked.
As for the rest of what you wrote, I'm at a loss as to whether I'm understanding you correctly. You mean - wait for Megui to show that there is an update for a component and then update?!
If this is what you mean, then:
1. These threads with individual component updates available are a no-brainer to post.
2. In my Megui settings, I have set it to update to a stable version -> "Use stable update server". And just a small bright example. According to this - updated, x264 2969 is offered to me. And I manually added x264 3106. That is. on the stable server the versions are quite behind.
On the other hand - Megui is a VERY ABANDONED program by the developer and updates once/at most twice a year.
And last year I suggested - @Ho Quoc Viet and @Barough
that you archive your folders (.zip, .rar...) with Megui with your settings and test with me. Because if they work - why not use them?! But... no one uploaded their archive.
As for the rest - I've confirmed once again that every new version of ffmpeg.exe doesn't work for me.

No..... with the 'Show all packages' enabled so can you see in the build column what type of tool MeGUI use. x86 or x64 version.
Don't think i've ever used the 'stable update server' to be honest. Always use 'development update server' here. Plus doing my own manual updates.
And my recommendation is for you to use 'development server' also. You miss so much by using the 'stable server'.
Regarding the 'MeGUI' folder so have i missed that, but here it is

Is this archive with your personal settings?!
