This is the second release candidate of FreeCAD 1.0. The most notable improvements over the 0.21 release series are the inclusion of the topological naming problem mitigation code, an integrated assembly workbench, a new materials system, and many UI/UX improvements. We expect to make three release candidates prior to the official release of 1.0 -- you can help by downloading and testing these candidates with your files and workflows, and reporting bugs on our GitHub repository.
