These ISOs are RELEASE. Using SVN Revision 3108, They currently contain: * Wayland Master * Weston Master * Wayland enabled Clutter * Wayland enabled SDL * Wayland enabled GTK * Wayland enabled QT * Wayland enabled EFL/Elementary * Wayland enabled mpv * Wayland enabled gstreamer * Orbital for Wayland (selectable at login) https://github.com/giucam/orbital (NOT on this ISO) * Hawaii for Wayland (selectable at login) https://github.com/mauios (NOT on this ISO) * KDE Frameworks Wayland programs * Native Calligra Wayland programs (NOT on this ISO) * Wayland enabled Gnome-shell (selectable at login) *Does not work on Virtualbox, except it can run nested * A graphical utility for configuring udev for weston multiseat/multi pointer * A rudimentary but functional Wayland login manager written in Bash, that supports user switching and session selection. * Wayland enabled Enlightenment E19 *Does not work on Virtualbox, except it can run nested * SWC tiling Wayland server (use super+enter for terminal, and super+r for dmenu) *Does not work on Virtualbox, and does not run nested. Only tested on Intel (selectable at login) https://github.com/michaelforney/swc * Menu options to run Gnome Shell Wayland, Enlightenment e19 Wayland, Orbital, and Hawaii desktops as nested sessions. * RDP enabled Weston New in these ISOs:--------- Calligra's older QT5 port has lost compatiblity with QT 5.4, so is not on this ISO. Calligra will be back on a later ISO, once Calligra starts thier new QT5 port. Hawaii is switching over to QT Compositor, but depends on some yet-to-be-merged changes. Orbital will be back on a later ISO when libweston is merged into main Weston. The Wayland Login Manager UI no longer shows the "Pick an Action" dialog while a job for the selected action is running for better usability The Application Selector now has text that makes sense The selectable framebuffer sizes on the boot menu make it clear that it is an *attempt* to get the framebuffer at a specific resolution. Different hardware and VM platforms behave differently with different sizes. Sound now works again, as systemd wasn't compiled with libacl support, and uaccess wasn't working The uaccess fix also allows hardware rendering, as because of no permissions on the card devices, it was falling back to software rendering Enhance integration with Weston's RDP abilities Enhance the "fallback session". Instead of having multiple entries, where one will force to Pixman, waylandloginmaanger now falls back to software rendering when wlmforceswrender is passed to the kernel command line. Integration for allowing the user to pass this, is a boot option from the live cd, or by running the command as root rbos-force-softwarerendering on an installed system. --------- ***There is no password for the Live Session User (beccaholic), while autologin is enabled when starting as a live CD, if you get prompted for a password when starting a second login session, the password field is blank*** If you choose to install, the live session user does not get added, and instead the login becomes the default usernme and password that is configured at the installation wizard --------- Problems: The Grub menu in Utopic ISOs seem to no longer be compatible with the USB startup creator, it seems to be an upstream issue with Utopic as I saw the same behaviour with a default ISO. To start the live session on the menu-less USB disk, you will have to type the word "live" and press enter. md5sum: f828e11795f9c2c663fb85747b5da640 RebeccaBlackLinux_DevDbg_i386.iso bc3525125ff02ce60dfd34e1894399bc RebeccaBlackLinux_i386.iso e12a996620422e61f3d3315b8e4baf17 RebeccaBlackLinux_Revisions_i386.txt 07b0de5c9fa27e7f0835fb144f20bc7d RebeccaBlackLinux_Source_i386.tar.gz
