Scheduled - Release of Forecast modeling

Today, October 10, 2025, starting at 4.00 AM EDT (10.00 AM CET), we will be releasing the Forecast modeling feature. The release activities are expected to last 2 hours.

Temporary disruptions in the app are expected.

During this time, the Forecast feature and some functionalities that depend on forecasts may be temporarily unavailable.

Expected impact during maintenance
- The Forecast feature might not be available during the release period.
- Related functionalities such as Metric insights, Goals, and Performance Summary may temporarily lose access to forecast data.

Expected changes after release
- Growth plan users will retain the existing Forecast functionality with new design — impacting metrics and alternative methodologies will be locked. Only the Databox methodology will be available.
- Premium plan users will gain access to the new Forecast Modeling feature, allowing them to add impacting metrics, change methodologies, and apply correlation factors.
- Saved forecasts will now display periods relative to the new Forecast feature, which may differ from the previous chart view.

A new and improved UI/UX will replace the previous Forecast interface.

Scheduled - Scheduled maintenance: Goals feature

Today, October 8, starting at 6.00 AM EDT (noon CET), we will start with maintenance activities where we'll update our Goals feature. The maintenance activities are expected to last 3 hours.
This release includes changes to how goals are structured and calculated. As a result, temporary disruptions are expected during the maintenance period.

Expected Impact
- Goals will be unavailable during the migration.
- Features that use goals (e.g., databoards, goal compare lines, calculations involving goals) may be temporarily disrupted.
- No goal-related alerts will be sent.

Potential Issues
- Changes to goals (adding, deleting, editing) during maintenance may not be saved.
- The web app may run slower than usual.
- Features dependent on goal data may behave inconsistently at times.

After the Release
- Goals will have a new structure and calculation model to support OKRs (including Timeframe logic and Success Criteria).
- On the updated Goals pages, the order and grouping of existing goals may look different.

Resolved - Our Security team, together with an external cybersecurity service provider, has concluded an investigation connected to suspicious activity involving a limited number of Databox customer connections with Salesforce.

We have not identified any evidence that any customer’s Databox account or personal data was compromised.

During the investigation process the Salesforce integration has been removed as a precaution measurement. We are working on re-enabling the Salesforce integration and will keep you updated once it’s available again.

Update - Thank you for your continued patience. Our Security team is continuing to investigate suspicious activity involving a limited number of Databox customer connections with Salesforce. Salesforce integration remains unavailable at this time. Once the Salesforce integration is available again, we will share clear instructions on how to reconnect.

Databox and Salesforce are investigating suspicious activity involving a subset of customer connections.

As a precaution, we have deactivated all Salesforce connections for the time being. This means that integration with Salesforce is temporarily disabled and data updates from Salesforce are on hold. This step was taken to ensure the highest level of protection for our customers.

We do not currently have a timeline to resume these services. We are working as quickly as possible to restore full functionality. We will update you as soon as we have more to share.

Update - On September 24, 2025, Salesforce disabled all integrations between Salesforce and the Databox app as a precautionary measure after detecting suspicious activity involving a subset of customer connections.

We immediately activated our incident response procedures and are working closely with the Salesforce security team to investigate further.

As a precautionary step, we revoked all Salesforce authentication tokens associated with Databox to protect customer data. As a result:
- All Salesforce data source connections in Databox are currently in an error state.
- Data cannot be retrieved or refreshed from Salesforce.
- Existing dashboards may display error messages, and new Salesforce data source connections cannot be established.

An investigation into the reported suspicious activity is in progress. We will continue to provide regular updates. At this time, there is no estimated timeline for restoration of service.

Investigating - All Salesforce data source connections in Databox are currently in an error state. Data cannot be retrieved or refreshed from Salesforce at this time. As a result, error messages may appear in existing connections and dashboards, and new Salesforce data source connections cannot be established.

Our team is actively investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. At this time, there is no estimated time for resolution. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Resolved - After monitoring the Xero integrations for a while, we can confirm that the issue is resolved.

The Xero data sources are now connected, new Xero connections can be added and data is syncing normally for Xero metrics.

Monitoring - Xero has resolved the issue on their end. The connections for the Xero data sources will be re-established in the following hours and then data will start syncing again.

Investigating - We are currently experiencing issues with Xero integration, where we’re receiving 'Access denied' errors from Xero API.

Impact on our users:
- All syncs for Xero metrics are failing, so data is not updating for any Xero data sources.
- New Xero data source cannot be connected.

We'll be reaching out to Xero to address the matter. All updates on the matter will be shared here.
