You can check your voicemail on your phone without any extra steps because it’s set up automatically. Learn how to check your voicemail.
You must turn on voicemail access from any phone and set a PIN to check your voicemail from another phone.
Turn on voicemail access & set or change PIN
You can turn on voicemail access from any phone and set a PIN or change your current PIN from either the Google Fi app or website. Here’s how:
Google Fi app- Open the Google Fi app

- In the "Home" tab, under "Phone settings," tap Voicemail.
- Turn on Call to listen.
- Enter your PIN.
- Tap Save.
- Open the Google Fi website.
- In the "Home" tab, under "Phone settings," click Voicemail.
- Turn on Call to listen.
- Enter your PIN.
- Click Save.
Tip: If you forget your PIN, to reset and create a new one, you can follow the steps again.
Manage your voicemail greeting
You can record a greeting of your own or change one you’ve already created.
Set your voicemail greeting- Open the Google Fi app
.
- In the "Home" tab, under "Phone settings," tap Voicemail
Manage greeting.
- To record your own greeting, tap the Microphone
.
- You can record up to 40 seconds.
- If the app asks for permission to record audio, tap Allow.
- To save your greeting, tap Keep.
- To record it again, tap Redo.
- Name your greeting.
- Tap Save.
On Android 6 (Marshmallow) and newer:
- Open the Google Fi app
.
- In the "Home" tab, under "Phone settings," tap Voicemail
Manage greeting.
- Next to the voicemail you want to use, tap the Down arrow
Set as active.
