Fivetran is an ELT Tool, specifically for Extracting the data from source and Loading the data into the Destination. This tool works in conjunction with other tools such as DBT for Transformations.

Fivetran is actually an "ELT" tool. It Extracts, Loads, and then Transforms, keeping a copy of both the source data as well as the transformed data.
