What do you like best about MarginEdge?

The most helpful for me is pricing information and food cost. Taking in inventory is a breeze so easy to go back in correct and find the problems. It attracts the usage of each item in the menu costing cards.

Handling of the invoices super easy it’s pretty seamless from receiving it all the way to being paid through my accountant. I can go back and find invoices with so much ease.

It doesn’t matter what system you’re on whether you’re on the 13 period or a monthly basis you can pretty much pull up whatever kind of report you want to see as far as product sales

I’ve tried some of the other software‘s nothing compares to MarginEdge . I am a customer for life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

Having the invoices being ingested then being able to do inventory, receipes and other functions with the items that are available. There is a lot of very nice features but they take time to setup and understand. Looking forward to future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

The mobile application lacks a lot so it requires you to log into the web site for most of the functionality. A few of the features are complex and take a little time to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

I love that I can contact someone directly and MarginEdge is always very efficient to respond and help me out. All the help articles are detailed but still digestible and easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

I wish there were more features available in the mobile app. Specifically in editing invoices that are Pending approval. It can be a pain to have to locate a computer just to make those quick changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

It's a strong tool to help us with our restaurant business. We can go to marginedge for pricing out menu items as well as for price alerts, menu analysis, inventory, bill pay and inventory among other things! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

I like that you can centralize all concepts within one platform. You can order directly from the site if the purveyor you use will accept those orders via email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

Mapping. If you ring a sales item and you have the recipe in the system it should automatically map it. I also dislike there are so many issues with invoice transcriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

1. the Best thing about ME is the quality of the bills with Lineitem they process

2. Export Funcitility

3. Easy Integration with Accounting Software

4. Bills pay, Recipe, and Inventory management are add-on things

5. Purchase History report and Budget Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

1. They took 48 hours and sometimes more than that to process a bill. this needs improvement. when bills do not have lien items they should be processed earlier. right now we are not able to set up Vendor.

2. More elaborative details of the export error or issue

3. in QBO, if the classes are set up. there should be an option to process bills in class or update/change the class.

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

It helps track all of our sales and invoices. It provides a mean of organization while also having other features that may benefit us from a business and utilization aspec. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app can be buggy at times. As we continue to add MarginEdge into our everyday use, there's times where I personally see things like invoices not always going through or the app glitching out on me and preventing me from using certain uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MarginEdge?

Inventory ease of use. And figuring out cost of menu items is simplified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarginEdge?

A lot of mistakes on order input. I.e., 2 different orders of the same vinegar get labelled two different names. And quite a few misspellings from the folks typing in inputs. Would prefer to be able to edit the recipe cards to my liking, and I wish that I could print a "tuesday order guide." What do you like best about MarginEdge?

The automatic upload of invoices is a great time saver. If you have enough time to upload all your recipes the variance tracking is great. You should bring on consultants you can refer to help upload recipes for clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer service team is not great. Condisending and lack humility. Also the product upload can be wrong fairly often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
