I've used a half dozen Google Drive file monitoring tools from Palo Alto Networks to Aperture, building custom tools internally based off the action log. None of them work nearly as fast as Nira. When you have hundreds of thousands of items, having a tool built for search is key. Nothing else on the market works like it.
Their UI is easy to understand, it puts easy controls in the hands of your users too to help them self-manage their own data. Often when we have to use tools like Nira it's in an emergency, so having coherent, easy to understand UI and UX is crucial to keeping calm under pressure.
A few months ago, my head of compliance was alerted to some google forms that had their results publicly shared. He asked if I could help find any other forms like that, and if there was any way to prevent it from happening again. On the same call, in less than 10 minutes we had found all the existing forms, remediated them, and created a new policy in nira to prevent any future user from making the same mistake.
The CS group at Nira is excellent, they're easy to connect with, and even when they don't have a solution they're quick to give you as much help as they can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MAny of their competitors also do full document search, this isn't yet a feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
