"Teamwork Made Easy"
What do you like best about Loom?

Loom makes communication incredibly easy and time-efficient. I love how I can quickly record my screen with voice or webcam, explain a process or feedback visually, and share the link instantly — no need for long meetings or lengthy emails. The interface is clean, intuitive, and the video quality is excellent even for quick recordings. It’s become a daily tool for me to collaborate with teammates and clients asynchronously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

There’s not much to dislike, but sometimes the upload or processing time can take a bit longer for larger videos. Also, the video trimming and editing options are somewhat limited compared to dedicated video editors. However, for quick recordings and sharing, it still performs exceptionally well. "Loom Review"
What do you like best about Loom?

I’ve been using Loom for making professional videos, especially for introductions where I can show both my face and screen at the same time. It’s perfect for creating clear and easy-to-understand videos. I really like that it can be added as a Chrome extension, so I can easily pull it up whenever I need to record something quickly. Sharing videos is also super simple, and the quality always looks professional. Overall, Loom makes recording and sharing videos effortless and helps me present myself in a polished, confident way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about Loom. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and makes video recording and sharing so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Loom for K's"
What do you like best about Loom?

What I like best about Loom is how easy it is to record and share videos. At K’s Kitchen Palo, it’s super helpful for showing step-by-step instructions or updates without needing a meeting. Instead of typing long explanations, we just record a quick video, and everyone can watch it anytime—it saves a lot of time and makes communication clearer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

What I dislike about Loom is that the videos can take a while to upload if the internet is slow. Also, the free version has limited storage, so we sometimes have to delete older videos to make space. But overall, it’s still a really convenient tool for sharing quick updates and instructions at K’s Kitchen Palo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup, Productivity Booster"
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom very effective for recording meetings and videos, which can be used for future references. The ability to transcribe videos is incredibly helpful. Setting up Loom was one of the simplest experiences I’ve had with a platform. It captures and manages knowledge effectively, allowing those who missed meetings to catch up quickly, thus increasing productivity. The easy video recording feature is the most helpful part for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

I would like Loom to improve a little bit more by adding some more features. Integration of platform can be made easier. I have also seen permission issue with many of the platform we try to integrate due to security concern of the individual platform. Solving this issue will also be very crucial in boosting the productivity of this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Loom Makes Communication Simple"
What do you like best about Loom?

I love using Loom because it saves me from unnecessary meetings and phone calls. Recording and sending a quick video makes it so much easier to explain things and keep communication efficient. Loom is also incredibly easy to use. It’s literally just click, record, and go. I love how slick the process feels, and the features make it even better. From sharing links instantly to letting people watch on their own time, it takes the hassle out of explaining things and keeps communication smooth without needing a meeting or phone call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

The only issue I run into is that sometimes Loom glitches and I have to refresh the screen to get it working again. It’s a small frustration compared to how much time it saves me overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A flawless way for communicating or giving feedback"
What do you like best about Loom?

I have been using Loom for about 4 years in many capacities and roles.

Being a full-time lecturer at the time, recording a video while explaining something is a natural, frictionless way of communicating, so the implementation was a no-brainer.

From being a full-time academic researcher and lecturer to a business consultant, Loom has enabled me to provide an easy and streamlined way of communication to a variety of stakeholders. It is so easy to integrate within any workflow, since you don't have to add another platform or software to my workflow (or my clients). They do not need to create another account or download new software if they don't want to (though many of them create an account by the time we finish the project).

Depending on the stage of the project or process, I use Loom at least a couple of times a week to provide feedback or give accurate instructions. I like the cloud-based approach since it allows me, my team, and clients to work practically anywhere and at any time -- a great feature when working remotely and across different time zones.

From undergraduate students to business owners and fellow admins, I find they appreciate the "human touch" (eg., watching me as I speak and having the chance to pause whenever they feel the need).

The Customer Support is awesome and answers tickets quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

The free account only provides 5-minute videos and a library of 25 videos, so I have to eliminate the videos once I finish a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Video Messaging, Significant Time Saver"
What do you like best about Loom?

I find Loom incredibly easy and quick to set up, which is convenient for seamless video creation and messaging. Its video messaging capability is very handy, allowing me to share insights and ideas easily without lengthy texts. The tool saves me and my clients a lot of time by simplifying outreach and replacing long meetings with concise videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Loom currently lacks features such as Slack-style messaging or the ability to have a platform where multiple viewers can watch a video at the same time without needing a direct link. This would be particularly useful for scenarios where I want to reach out to a large number of customers simultaneously, allowing them to see the same video in real-time and understand issues together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The perfect tool to screen any Tutorial and share it with your team"
What do you like best about Loom?

What I really appreciate about Loom is how it cuts through the noise. Instead of drafting long emails or setting up yet another meeting, I just hit record and share exactly what I mean in seconds. It’s a simple way to get my point across without losing any of the personal vibe.

It’s also great because people can watch whenever it suits them—no need to sync calendars or rush replies. The whole thing just flows naturally. The videos look sharp, it’s super straightforward to use, and honestly, it just makes working together feel way less complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

Occasionally, the playback can lag or stutter depending on your connection, which can be frustrating. And lastly, I wish it had a few more advanced editing options built in, so you wouldn’t have to jump to another tool if you want to trim or highlight something more precisely. But overall, these are minor quirks in an otherwise handy tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple yet effective screen recording tool"
What do you like best about Loom?

Loom is a very easy to use screen recording tool. Setting up this software is very easy and the UI is very intuitive. I use the browser extension but one can use desktop app as well. I use it frequently because it saves a a lot of time compared to writing long emails and repeating explainations using it's core features like screen recording, webcam overlay, video trimming, easy sharing, and team collaboration. Another plus point is that it integrates with tools like Slack, Gmail, and JIRA, making it smooth to fir in daily workflows. Overall, Loom is simple yet productive tool which makes communictaion faster and reduces the need for repetitive explainations and demos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

One disadvantage of Loom is that longer recordings can occasionally take longer to analyze and distribute, which causes a slight lag. Regular users may feel constrained by the free plan's restrictions on features and recording duration. If you need to make intricate modifications to a video, there isn't much flexibility because the editing tools are quite simple. It could also be easier to arrange and manage a lot of recordings, particularly for groups who routinely produce and distribute videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal for Busy Professionals Handling Multiple Accounts"
What do you like best about Loom?

As someone managing demand and handling key account communications, I often need to present campaign performance, deal structures, and partnership data to various DSP and SSP stakeholders. Loom has made that process significantly easy to implement. I can record detailed walkthroughs of dashboards, proposals, or media plans and share them with partners who may be in different time zones or unavailable for live meetings.

The blur feature is particularly helpful. When I’m showcasing dashboards that contain sensitive client metrics or financial figures, I can selectively hide those parts while still providing context around performance. This helps maintain client confidentiality without compromising on clarity.

Another major benefit is how Loom handles window switching. During recordings, when I need to check another tab or system, Loom automatically pauses. This ensures that only the most relevant information is captured, which makes the final video more polished and to the point. I don’t have to trim dead time later or worry about awkward pauses, it helped to ease.

I also use Loom internally to align with cross-functional teams. Instead of writing detailed meeting recaps or explaining the same thing repeatedly, I send a quick Loom video summarizing key decisions, campaign insights, or partner requests. It saves me time and improves communication clarity across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loom?

When I switch the camera during a recording, the floating toolbar and camera icon shift from their original position, and I have to manually adjust them, which breaks the flow. Also, finding older videos can be tricky without proper folders or tags. Some advanced editing features are limited on the free plan, which would be helpful for more polished presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
