The best Without a doubt, the best thing about this Amazon service is the speed when it comes to developing applications for IoT that involve a single action. Due to the compatibility with Lambda Functions and all the facilities they bring, AWS IoT 1-Click is a nice simplification. If you have a physical device that has a certain workflow of states, and you need to perform complex operations in one of those steps, AWS IoT 1-Click is the best option. I would have liked them to give clearer examples of use. Especially for Microsoft .Net technologies. Also, it should implement any API call, not only their Lambda Functions (but you can call your API vía Lambda, so...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about AWS IOT is reducing costs and improving scalability by migrating their workloads to the Cloud and increasingly moving mission-critical services and processes to the Cloud.

Lamda methods solves a much needed solution to not forced to own a server for something as simple as sending a one-off notification. You can simple write a routine that gets run and doesn't need much context for it to run. Having a whole instance for this was an overkill which is not solved.
