"Effortless Data Protection"
What do you like best about Azure Site Recovery?

Supports application-aware recovery, which ensures consistent recovery of multi-tier applications. It understands the interdependencies between different components of an application and orchestrates their recovery accordingly. Helps protect workloads and achieve efficient disaster recovery. With its replication, orchestration, automation, and application-aware recovery capabilities, ASR ensures minimal downtime, low data loss, and simplified failover and failback processes. It is integrated with Azure services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Site Recovery?

Setting up and configuring ASR can be complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations with complex IT infrastructures.

ASR primarily supports virtual machines (VMs) running on VMware and Hyper-V platforms. If an organization has physical servers or other hypervisor platforms, ASR may not be the most suitable solution, requiring additional workarounds or alternative tools.

Using ASR can incur additional costs in terms of Azure storage, network bandwidth, and VM licensing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review on Azure Site Recovery"
What do you like best about Azure Site Recovery?

Seamless Replication: Azure Site Recovery provides a seamless replication procedure, making it simple and hassle-free for you to duplicate your workloads to Azure.

Azure Site Recovery's cost-effectiveness is one of its main advantages. You may save money on infrastructure by using Azure as your disaster recovery location instead of paying for separate backup data centres. Your expenditure is optimized since you only pay for the storage and computing resources that you really utilize during a failover occurrence.

Scalability and Flexibility: Azure Site Recovery offers the scalability and flexibility needed to meet the particular demands of your business. You may customize the solution to meet your unique demands thanks to its support for a wide range of platforms, including Windows and Linux, and its availability of several replication topologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Site Recovery?

Learning Curve: For users who are unfamiliar with the platform, there may be a learning curve with Azure Site Recovery's feature-rich and comprehensive solution. It could be difficult for some people to comprehend and navigate through the many setups and settings at first.

Complexity for Non-Azure settings: Although Azure Site Recovery supports replication from a variety of platforms, including non-Azure settings, setting up and administering the replication process for these environments may call for more configuration work and knowledge.

Network Bandwidth Considerations: Enough network bandwidth is needed to replicate a lot of data to Azure. Ensuring effective data replication without affecting other crucial network activities might be a problem for enterprises with constrained network resources. "Azure Recovery - simple and effective"
What do you like best about Azure Site Recovery?

The management interface has gone through many interations and I find it responsive and a good user experience. Also helps me find things I'm looking for without too much effort. It interates with all Azure storage and servers - simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Site Recovery?

It's not an instant fail-over platform, however I don't think it needs to be - this isn't something I dislike per se, it's more something I've struggled to come up with on a product that is really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
