I loved how simple it was to create a listing for my company. It took a few hours to get the first pass of the listing together then I just refined and added supporting documentation. I love how high-touch the onboarding process for sellers is. Just a few days after I submitted my initial listing draft, I had an opportunity to chat for 30 mins with Ebony Santoyo, who proceeded to give me a 1-on-1 tutorial on how to great a listing that sells. Ebony shared a number of specific suggestions--it's clear that she's put in the time to try to understand the nature of my business as well as the perspective of a potential buyer. After the call, I received a homework sheet that's incredibly thorough and detailed. As a first-time founder, I'm super grateful for Ebony's guidance and availability. Whether you're a first-time business seller or ten-time, Acquire.com helps you through all the key steps and educates you on what to do. They really prioritize giving you, the seller, a successful and smooth selling process.

Oh and also — they have an immense reach and really help you get exposed to good buyers. They have a good screening process to make sure buyers are legit as well (verifying their funds), so that you know whether buyers are trustworthy or not.

Honestly, the only thing that took some getting used to was their Escrow.com partnership, as Escrow.com is not as modern and user-friendly as Acquire.com. For context, Escrow is what Acquire uses to actually manage the transfer of funds. But I figured it out and it wasn't a big deal in hindsight.
