What do you like best about Andovar?

What I appreciated was the quick and consistent communication, as well as the ability to manage Rise courses and Canva projects directly through your own accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Andovar?

Slowness in receiving quotes. Different people handling the quoting and the actual translation project after quote approval — which, in my opinion, leads to a lack of overall visibility and consistency in the process. I’ve often had to revise quotes myself because they varied significantly without any clear reason. There’s also a lack of clarity on delivery dates, and feedback on the glossary is not always taken into account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Andovar solving and how is that benefiting you?

Andovar translates a large amount of content into 13 different languages for e-learning modules.

The content is heavy, but they were very efficient and quick in delivering the first translation. They provide very precise and clear instructions on how to follow each step of their process correctly, and answer all my questions very quickly.

If the main point of contact is absent, they always make sure that I have another contact who will answer me and who has the same level of knowledge of the project as his colleague.

Andovar translated a long (36,000 word) document from English to Portuguese. They provided a good quality translation in the time agreed. Helpfully, the Andovar team also checked the version of Portuguese used by our government partners - which is different to the version used by the general population. What do you like best about Andovar?

A very responsive team that shares regular updates on progress and delivers on time. Also for my monthly newsletter translations, my account Manager, Naomi & Nora, proactively check in with me for documents and has the linguistics team ready to complete it before my publishing deadline. I have also had situations, where they has been really understanding and accommodating with minor edits/ changes and changing deadlines, that have had to be made to translated documents, because of additional reviews conducted on the materials. Really work on the termbase and make sure these are correct. Get second translation services to make sure these terms are correct or get internal native language personnel to help with the translations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Probably not a problem with Andovar but just the difficultly of getting viewed. As you need someone do to do translation services you can't fully get internal or additional translation review to be correct translations. I took one star off because their first draft translation product felt more AI-ish than I expected. (I opted for the AI-assisted, and lingust-polished, method). But this can be fixed with client inputs, they were very good-humored and quick to reflect our comments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Andovar solving and how is that benefiting you?

Andovar fulfilled our request for a large EN-JP translation order at a very tight schedule. It was for three reports, and to meet our deadline, they deployed three teams working in parallel. Their AI-assisted translation service started with termbase development which ensured we had opportunity to input before the translation was underway, and they of course worked with us to polish the final product based on our comments. Andovar's project manager and sales representative both are very prompt at replying to any inquiry, and genuinely kind, helpful, cheerful, and professional. Thank you Andovar! What do you like best about Andovar?

The set-up is great. You get assigned a single point of contact. They get the brief and act as your Account Manager - they coordinate everything that needs to be done. If you need fast and accurate translations you should be talking to them. They are process & milestone driven. Their team works across timezones so they are working while you sleep. We had a number of translations that needed to be done that we coming from disparate sources; pretty much each one had its own file format. We were on a tight deadline for the launch of our app & our other translators were dragging the chain. Andovar took everything we had across all formats and just got on with the job.
