"Claude has made complex strategic work more efficient, saving hours on tedious work"
What do you like best about Claude?

Claude's ability to maintain context and understand nuanced business requirements is strong. Claude helps me structure complex deliverables and simulations, analyze huge volumes of text or data, and craft precise client communications without losing strategic intent. The tool particularly excels at helping me catch critical details I might miss when exhausted - like when we debugged that Google Apps Script issue where the simple capitalization error in "Index.html" was causing deployment failures. Claude's direct approach matches exactly what I need - clear thinking without fluff or unnecessary validation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

Sometimes Claude gets locked into patterns from earlier in our conversation (i.e. template lock-in) and needs explicit resetting to properly address new requirements - I've had to develop specific prompts to force fresh perspective when this happens and that still only helps some of the time. The tool occasionally oversimplifies complex strategic recommendations or adds unwanted polish when I need precise, unvarnished language for client work. Compression bias is also a huge problem (though as context windows grow, this is getting a bit better). I'll often need it to review everything we've discussed in a thread because it's lost the bigger picture, and it will tell me it has reviewed it and seems to truly think it has -- but in actuality, it's only reviewed the summary it created which didn't capture the important nuance I needed it to understand, and it doesn't realize it's just reviewing the summary. I also feel like it's not particularly consistent. A prompt that works wonders one day can bring terrible results the next day even when the prompt is exactly the same. And it needs a lot of critical thinking to manage it or big misses slip in. That said, all of these same issues exist for all LLMs that I've used. They are not unique to Claude. So I also often use ChatGPT, Gemini, and other tools giving them the same prompts, and who provides the best result just depends on the day (and type of request). "Incredibly powerful for coding and for reliable answers, but has too many limitations"
What do you like best about Claude?

Claude is exceptional at serving as your AI companion for web programming. I have used Claude to create full web apps for clients and for colleagues, and have even had it develop an educational typing game for my daughter within a matter of minutes. Where Claude excels over its competition is its ability to think about a prompt and also take into account some basic design principles and user experience practices, without needing these to be explicitly explained like you would have to in ChatGPT.

I also appreciate the ethical framework that Anthropic has carefully put into Claude, which makes Claude more reliable sometimes when it comes to seeking out recommendations and advice on decisions you would want a second opinion on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

Claude's built-in limitations for its $20/month paid version are too numerous to count. If you want to troubleshoot web programming, Claude has a character limit on chat conversations, so you will find yourself quickly needing to start multiple chats. Up until recently, Claude also had no ability to reference other chats/conversations you had with it, even within the same account. This meant each time you hit the character limit on a chat, you would need to resummarize in a new chat session with Claude what you're talking about. This was inherently frustrating for coding iterations and troubleshooting.

With the ability now to reference other chats put into place, this helps, but the character limit is still far too defined. I often find myself hitting chat limits all the time when I need coding assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claude 4, best Coding model"
What do you like best about Claude?

Extended-thinking mode that lets the model invoke web search and other tools mid-conversation, ideal for multi-step data analysis and research workflows.

Best-in-class coding performance (72 %+ on SWE-bench) with sustained focus over hours, allowing me to refactor large monorepos without context fragmentation.

Parallel tool execution and a new code-execution sandbox exposed through the API, which shorten feedback loops when automating CI/CD or unit-test generation.

Memory API that persists domain facts between sessions, so the agent gradually builds tacit product knowledge and stops repeating discovery questions.

Strict enterprise-grade security: ASL-3 safety layer, audit logs, and regional data residency options that satisfied both our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits.

Hybrid response modes (near-instant vs. deep-reasoning) let me trade latency for depth programmatically, keeping user-facing chat snappy while background agents think harder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

It's definitely one of the best models out there, but the cost is on the higher side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claude is my best friend (just kidding)"
What do you like best about Claude?

Claude does a great job with tables and charts — it actually makes sense of the data and pulls out the key points without much effort on my end. It’s also really helpful for digging into financials, planning ahead, and breaking big goals into smaller, manageable steps. The way it organizes info makes everything feel a lot more clear and less overwhelming.

I also use it for research and getting the bigger picture, especially when looking into new markets or unfamiliar topics.

I’ve made it part of my regular workflow, and honestly, it’s been a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

The quality of the texts could be better because they often come out a bit rough or too promotional and emotional. ChatGPT handles this much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An LLM with great potential"
What do you like best about Claude?

What I like most about it is how easy it is to connect to MCP and how highly scalable it is compared to ChatGPT and Gemini.

I prefer tools that can provide a variety of value with just one idea, rather than tools that have a set usage method to a certain extent.

In that sense, Claude is a highly capable and reliable partner that I can expect to grow in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

The API usage fee is more expensive than ChatGPT or Gemini, but if you just want to ask questions, you can just use the desktop version, so it's not a big deal.

However, it's not the best option if you want to incorporate it into an app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Claude... My Hero"
What do you like best about Claude?

Okay, full disclosure - our software runs on Microsoft cloud so I should probably be using Copilot, but I can't deny that Claude is my actual go-to. I work in Marketing at a field service software company, and Claude has become my daily resource for brainstorming, writing copy, research, technical questions, and so much more.

The biggest thing is the writing quality. We actually test prompts across different LLMs on my team, and Claude consistently comes up with more creative, less generic ideas than ChatGPT. It feels like bouncing ideas off a friend rather than talking to a robot.

I use it when I'm stuck and need to "find the words." I can just dump my stream-of-consciousness thoughts into the chat and get back something structured that I can actually edit. It saves me tons of time because I'm not staring at a blank page anymore.

What I really appreciate is that Claude will admit when it doesn't know something instead of just making stuff up like other AI tools do. I appreciate the honesty! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

I used to have issues with prompt limits and lack of ability to research, but that's been solved with upgrading my subscription and the new update to Claude 4, respectively. It currently has a knowledge cutoff of Oct 2024, but this doesn't typically get in the way of my business uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good AI, but not enough..."
What do you like best about Claude?

Claude is a useful AI tool for generating creative text that sounds natural and human-like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claude?

Claude doesn't have any major weaknesses, but I stopped using it because it doesn't excel in any particular area. Its precision isn't quite there, its research capabilities fall a bit short, and its memory isn't the strongest. Overall, it lacks the qualities that would make it my top choice for an AI tool.

Additionally, I found that the free version was more restricted compared to what other competitors offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
