"All-in-One Platform for Efficient Property Management"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

Building Engines makes managing properties simple & efficient. I love how it centralizes work orders, compliance tracking, and tenant communications—all in one user-friendly platform. Implementation was straightforward, the platform is intuitive, and I use it weekly. Integration across multiple properties is seamless. I also enjoyed the Prism courses on JLLT University, which helped me earn my Prism User Certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I don’t really have any dislikes—Building Engines is very user-friendly. The one time I had an issue with the filter not properly separating users between my two properties, a software update resolved it, and I haven’t encountered any problems since then Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prism is easy to use, reliable, and makes tracking and managing tasks much more efficient."
What do you like best about Building Engines?

I especially appreciate how it helps organize work orders and provides clear visibility across our team. It has definitely improved our workflow and communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

Integration gaps – connecting Prism with other systems (like accounting or HR software) isn’t always seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's convenient"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

It's user friendly. A convenient way for tenants to request building services and an easy way for management to charge as needed and keep track of work done. The website is easy to navigate and it's aesthetically pleasing. Tenants have found it very easy to navigate, once they become familiar. Though certain features offer limited customization, the tenants understand and are pleased with the system overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I can't customize features for tenants individually the way they & I'd like to. It would be great to be able to customize the permissions & notifications for each tenant to their liking, without interfering with others using the same permission type, or notification. What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I would like to be copied on automatic emails sent to tenants and vendors requesting updated certificate of insurance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An unmatched experience for over 17 years!"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

The ability to quickly look up information at the property and portfolio level is second to none. After 15 years with BE, we are now on Prism, the next generation of BE, and are loving the updated interface. The ability to quickly drill down on work orders, a property's information, and now contracts, is a game-changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

Prism could have a better Tenant Landing page. I miss the Building Connect feature from the classic version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CityCentre Mgmt. G2 Review"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

I love that I can adjust the notification settings for individual or a group of buildings or members of mgmt. It allows you to notify specific people of work orders, status updates, comments, etc. Additionally, it allows the administrators to streamline many standard business practices within or integrated into 1 platform. Our team has Building Engines open 24/7, and until recently monitored it constantly to assign new work orders. I have since increased our efficiency by setting auto-assign policies for work orders based on the issue type, building, property site, and overall responsibility which has changed our game tremendously! It's also incredibly user friendly across the board, and their team provides training materials to assist with navigating the system and submitting work orders for tenants and team members. Their team is very supportive and engaging with their customers, providing system notifications and opportunities to strengthen skills associated with the system. The system also integrates easily with other systems, such as COI Compliance Tracking through MyCOI, and batch billing in AP systems. Implementing the work order system was smooth and organized, with the ability to import data from existing files, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

It's difficuly to pinpoint a specific attribute I don't like about Building Engines. The only thing I think can be approved upon is the ability to disable a company in the system regardless of the completion status of assosicated work orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"THE PLATFORM IS INTUITIVE AND EASY TO USE"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

We use the Platform every day and creating work orders, as well as attending to them, has been quite simple for me as an administrator, as well as for my suppliers and tenants. It has been very easy to get my suppliers to integrate into its implementation. The Support team has helped us a lot with any questions we have had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

Translation to 100% Spanish is missing as well as the ability to use the application without the need for internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prism Has Streamlined Our Entire Operations & Workflow"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

We use Prism across several of our properties — 600 Congress, Foundry I & II, and Procore Tower — and it’s made a noticeable difference in how smoothly we handle daily operations. From submitting and tracking work orders to communicating with tenants, it really helps us stay organized and efficient.

One of the things I appreciate most is how intuitive the interface is. Whether I’m assigning a task to our team or checking in on an open issue, it only takes a few clicks. We’ve also had a lot fewer miscommunications with tenants since using Prism because everything’s documented and easy to reference later.

It’s also great being able to access it from anywhere — whether I’m onsite or at another location, I can jump in and get what I need done quickly. Overall, Prism has helped our team stay on top of things across multiple properties without letting anything fall through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I can't think of anything, honestly. I also haven't encountered any issues where I've had to reach out to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very Efficient for our property management infrastructure"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

Building Engines has transformed how we manage our commercial property operations. The platform seamlessly integrates all aspects of property management into one intuitive system, saving our team countless hours each week. I love how user friendly it is! Very simple to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

In the Resource Reservation area, I wish we could reserve a conference room for multiple days at a time. If you need to reserve a room for a week, you'd have to do multiple reservations. It would save time to be able to add the multiple dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Building Engines is a decent, user friendly platform for facilities engineers."
What do you like best about Building Engines?

The Building Engines dashboard provides a user friendly way for engineers to keep track of tasks that are assigned to them as well as new requests that may come in throughout the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

Everyday engineers having access to all sites instead of only their own tends to lead to issues with a couple wrong clicks of a button or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
