ClearChecks is very user friendly and it was a breeze to sign up my applicants for a background check and drug screen. I also like that I can add on searches that I need without buying ones I don't. The drug screening was a bit complicated for my applicant. The website is not clear about which locations have all the testing capabilities and my applicant had to go to two different appointments and call the individual site to confirm. What do I like best about ClearChecks? In short, everything. The platform makes it easy for me or my prospective employee to input critical data; the pricing is transparent and clear so you only pay for the checks you need; their content is so helpful to those who hire (uh, most of us?); and their founders will bend over backwards to ensure your success. The only negative thing I can think of is that some of my questions were not intuitively answered on the website. For instance, knowing that you must first order a background check to then be able to see the drug testing options was not clear to me until I spoke to a representative. I'm a therapist in private practice, and love how easy, intuitive and streamlined the background check process is! My favorite part of Clear Checks is that they take care of obtaining consent for the background check and displaying the legally required disclaimers. It's all streamlined. I just enter my employee's email, select the type of check(s) and it takes care of the rest! I've tried at least two other platforms, and this one is effortless to use. Their customer support chat is also excellent, and it's only ever taken me less than 5 minutes to have any questions answered or issues resolved.
