"Easy to use and quick setup"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

The Beeceptor app is very intuitive and easy to use, the UX is great and the UI feels natural. It was rather easy to integrate with it and implement the usage of it. The mocking of endpoints is easy to configure and use, everything is understandable and runs smoothly. I really liked the local tunnel aswell, letting you switch from local api to mock api in just seconds, which is great for my specific use-case.

Overall this is a very good application that excels in what it does. Great work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

Not really a downside but more of a wanted feature, being able to duplicate rules would be really nice and would help if you have a similar endpoint with small changes, also having a specific field for accepted query params would be very useful, other than that I did not find any downsides or dislikes. "Powerful and easy to use!"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

It's very simple to setup up some API endpoints, allowing us to create working prototypes even before the backend team started working on the project. It supports adding delays and random data like UUIDs in responses to help mitigating the limitations of being a stateless API mock.

There're tons of utility functions to get params, create dynamic IDs and even persist state across calls. Whatever you need to receive in your app/webapp, it can probably be returned from Beeceptor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

The "Response Header" and "Response Body" inputs are not very good when writing JSON, I find myself writing the responses in VSCode so that they are properly formatted and then pasting them there, it'd be great to have a better JSON editor in the mocking rules editor directly. "Great, good compliment to Postman"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

Beeceptor is ridiculously fast to set up — you can create a mock endpoint in under a minute. I love that it doesn’t require installs or complicated configs. The request inspection dashboard is clean and makes it super easy to debug headers, payloads, and webhooks. For quick prototyping and testing, it’s a lifesaver. What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

It’s not meant for very complex API simulations. If you need stateful mocks or large-scale load/performance testing, you’ll hit limits quickly. Also, free plan quotas are fine for small projects, but teams doing heavy testing will need to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very convenient and easy to use!"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

I use Beeceptor to assist our customers when they are integrating our API. Being able to set up endpoints, rules, and replicate what our customers encounter when integrating is invaluable for troubleshooting. It gives me a tool to deliver a higher standard of service than I would be able to do without Beeceptor. Instead of just referring the customer to our documentation, I can show in "real time" what happens if they do X instead of Y.

If you encounter any issues, the customer support is there to help either via chat or via email in no time.

To sum it up, it's a very helpful tool that helps me to help our customers more efficiently and professionally! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

I don't have any dislikes tbh. Sure, I wish it would be free to use unlimited for everyone, but that isn't really a dislike, that's just a utopia since we all have to make money somehow :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Delivers what's expected in a simple and easy way"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

How easy it is to set up and use. I mostly use it to enable a local tunnel, allowing me to test my development. It took me a minute to set it up, then I use it in seconds every time I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

The initial payment process was confusing. The system didn't recognize my successful payment, which appears to be a known issue based on a warning message I received. Contacted customer support, and in a few minutes, they fixed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes it very easy to test applications that interact with HTTP endpoints"
What do you like best about Beeceptor?

Beeceptor makes it very easy to visualize incoming HTTP requests, as well as to generate synthetic HTTP responses based on a comprehensive rule set. Make the development feedback loop very fast when the application sends HTTP requests and/or reacts on responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beeceptor?

Nothing I really dislike. I miss being able to programmatically set my synthetic HTTP endpoints and responses. It'd be interesting if, instead of using the browser UI, I could set everything from the command line, perhaps using a JSON or yaml configuration file. Would make it easier to reproduce the creation of mock servers, reuse them in testing or CI/CD environments, and also to share them across a development team.
