"Great software for small organizations"
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Divvy is a great choice for small organizations looking to beef up their internal controls and expense documentation. The transactions import to our accounting software with the click of a button, allowing users to code their own expenses without additional manual intervention. Receipts can be required so that purchases are properly documented, and manager approval is also a great way to make sure spending is staying in control. This software has many of the features I was used to with my previous large organization, without the burdensome cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

Top level user can approve their own transactions. Integration to QBO could happen overnight automatically, instead of requiring me to push the button to make it go over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jenn J of BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)

Thank you, Liv, for your five-star review of Spend & Expense! We are happy that you are enjoying that your transactions sync to your accounting software which allows users to code their own expenses without additional help, and that receipts can be uploaded easily so that they can be approved to keep spending under control. We appreciate your thoughts on top level users being able to approve their own transactions as well as integration with QBO happen automatically overnight without having to initiate and have submitted feature requests to our team. Please continue to provide your feedback as we value our user's suggestions when planning for the future of our software.

"Decent Spend and Expense Software, Bad Customer Service"
What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

It is useful for syncing coding directly into our accounting software, allowing reciepts to be uploaded and descriptions added for coding transactions. Also, a great control for budgeting and employee spending. Website is accessible and I have no trouble getting done what I need to. I appreciate the software and it was not hard for our company to adopt. Their phone app is effective for our managers to review their transactions and move funds on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

When I do have to talk to customer service, I rarely get anyone helpful. One problem, is we use another software to keep our accounting software online, and bill.com or bill spend and expense don't play nice. Only a few people there know about the issue, and they will tell you, the only solution is to manually correct it, which takes forever, if we accidentally try to sync while someone else is in the books. Don't be fooled by the rewards. It was extremely important to one of our partners that we would get rewards comparable to our previous card using this. I repeatedly asked customer service what their rewards were and they would say 1%. This was entirely false. If you read their rewards policy, it is the worst I've ever seen on several points. I would not recommend this for any business that thinks rewards are important. Also, we were told the divvy card was similar to our other cards, and we would pay the balance on the statement after a month. You don't have this option. The card is paid at the end of every statement period. Very dissapointed we were mislead by their sales team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jenn J of BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)

Thank you for your beneficial feedback on our software, Nick. We are happy to hear that BILL has been useful for syncing directly into your accounting software, that it's been great for controlling budgeting/employee spending with the website being accessible and that our phone app has been effective for your managers in reviewing their transactions as well as moving funds on the go. We understand your frustrations with not getting the help you need when reaching out to customer support, also that our software doesn't play nice with the software you use to keep your accounting software online and the disappointment with our rewards program. We are also sorry to hear about the concerns with paying back the balance and we have alerted our team about your concerns. If you are needing assistance still, please feel free to email us at feedback@hq.bill.com with your information and someone will reach out to you directly.
