"The best mobile CI/CD in class!"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Bitrise truly provides everything you need, whether you're an indie mobile developer or part of a large organization. As an indie developer, you'll appreciate the free plan, and as your needs grow, you can upgrade to access more advanced features like SSO login and user management.

I rely on Bitrise daily for all my projects, including native iOS, native Android, and Flutter. The user interface is very clean, making the overall experience enjoyable.

Setting up new projects and maintaining them is always straightforward. There are now plenty of recipes and third-party steps available to handle everything from building and deployment to testing and security checks. You can design simple workflows or create more complex ones with parallelization and shared artifacts, making Bitrise suitable for both beginners and experienced users.

If you ever run into issues, their forum is full of helpful posts, and the support team is friendly and responsive.

Try it, you will adopt it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

If you need to install a particular tool, you'll have to spend time doing so every time you start a build, as you can't save the installation for future use. However, this approach ensures that each build begins with a fresh and clean environment.

Occasionally, snapshot tests produce different results on Bitrise compared to your laptop, even when using the same stack. Still, this difference is manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All you need for your Mobile Apps CI/CD"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Simple to configure once you get to know it.

Bitrise provides seamless integration with many services, making it really simple to build, test, and deploy your code.

In terms of CI/CD, Bitrise covers all your needs specifically for mobile. It works with native technologies as well as major cross-platforms. Connect your repo; their automatic configuration will get you up and running in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

If you are a small company or you are a sole developer, the price could feel a bit high. Not saying it's not worthy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is an amazing tool for CI/CD"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Bitrise is easy to integrate and use in own CI/CD flow.

It has a wizard configuration flow to setup new project.

We use it daily to build and deploy mobile applications (native and cross-platform). There are a lot of pre-build steps to compose own workflow and there is the availability to create an own custom step. It is also possible to setup pipeline to increase the speed of the build.

The customer support helped us in the past to fix some build or workflow setup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

A feature that still missing in this tool is the availability to save a workflow to apply to different projects. It is already possible save the workflow configuration outside of Bitrise (such as an external repo), but create a template to apply to new project (with placeholders) will help to setup new flow more quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simply the best"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

It is so easy to use and set up! As a developer, I don't want to spend time setting up complex build configurations in systems that I barely understand. It usually takes a huge amount of time and loads of frustration. With Bitrise, this was not the case. It was so easy to set up and I had it running perfectly in no time. It is super easy to add or change the build steps also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

I found it a little bit confusing to understand the pricing between accounts. I have a user account, with its own plan, that belongs to a company account, with its own plan. I have to really think about what I will be charged and on what plans the builds are registered to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support is always there to help you fixing your issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

Sometimes the prebuilt workflow steps miss the ability to customize some of the less frequently used parameters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use and reliable CI/CD"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

I really like how easy Bitrise makes it to build apps for Android and IOS. The logs of the build process are easy to understand, and it integrates well with other parts of our workflows. I use it a lot to build complex changes to see anything has broken, and to get the app into people's hands for testing. I definitely recommend them to others. What do you dislike about Bitrise?

The cost of the starter pack ain't cheap, haha! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great CI/CD experience"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

I like how easy it is to setup CI/CD workflows such as app distribution to Firebase and receiving updates in Slack. Following the UI is easy to add new workflows, change or duplicate existing workflows. I hate having to waste time setting up complex things in a CI/CD platform instead of spending time on my tasks but with Bitrise it's UI is intuitive and easy to follow. Bitrise service has been reliable, I have never seen it go down in 3 years I've been using it. It also shows warnings for any upcoming breaking changes well in advance and its easy to address these things by following the UI prompts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

When a build fails the errors are still at the bottom of a long log, Bitrise could improve this by making the UI more friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bitrise is a time saver when it comes to CI/CD"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

The best thing is that you have the option to choose how you want to work with Bitrise, manage your own runner instances and connect them to the platform or just forget about the infrascture setup and let Bitrise do all the heavy lifting.

When it comes to user experience, UI and ease of use, I have to say, it's definitely by far the best tool you can pick for your CI/CD workflow. You can get up-and-running in a matter of minutes and just play around with the workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

After using it for a couple of years now, the only thing that comes to mind is not having a history of changes for your workflows (if using the hosted yml file) option. Sure, you can always add the configuration file to your own repo, but in that case it can be a bit tiresome to update workflows, copy/paste the configuration into your yml file and pushing the changes.
