What I like most about the Cisco ASA 5500-X Series is its reliability and stability. Once it’s up and configured, it just works. We’ve been using it across several locations and it’s consistently handled traffic and security policies without issues. The built-in VPN capabilities are also really solid and easy to manage using ASDM. Overall, it gives peace of mind from a security standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside is the learning curve when it comes to configuration, especially if you’re not familiar with Cisco’s CLI or ASDM interface. Some of the documentation could be clearer too. And in today’s market, it does feel a bit dated compared to some of the newer firewalls with more advanced UIs and cloud-based management options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
