I've been using Circula for a few days now and I'm truly impressed. The app is very intuitively designed, so you can get started right away without having to read long instructions. What I especially like is the feature that lets you simply photograph receipts with your phone — the data is automatically extracted, saving me a lot of time typing things in. What do you like best about Circula?

I can record all my expenses on the run and be done with it...it's super simple, it's intuitive, you can do it all via App or additionally via Browser App...what can I say....if I could wish for an App, this is what I would want to have.

My favourite feature is, that I can upload pdfs from my phone into the App (like airdrop) or send pdfs to an Email address. Either you allocate it to a journey right away or later....

Disclaimer: used it to track expenses for 2 weeks. No long term experience or backoffice experience, but so far it's a discussion between 9 or 10 out of 10 points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hard to think of anything....if there is any criticism at all then I'd say you have to run through a set of process steps whilst adding an expense. As all steps are prefilled anyhow, they could be all listed and confirmed or adapted in a single overview step, which would reduce clicking even further.

I find it confusing, that each expense has a title/reason as well as an allocation to a journey. So if you travel to a workshop and your journey is called workshop, the title/reason for the travel expense has to be stated anyway...so you name it "workshop" as well, like the journey. Did you get it? Yeah....found it confusing, too. I guess it's a regulatory necessity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Circula for my travel expense accounting and am completely satisfied. It is particularly practical that receipts can be easily captured by photo and the system automatically recognizes and enters the relevant data. This eliminates a large part of the manual entries and makes the accounting significantly faster and more straightforward.

The entries are overall very intuitively designed, guiding you step by step through the process. The clear structure and user guidance also greatly facilitate the processing.

I especially like the clean user interface and the simple usage. It's a great upgrade to our old system and the best thing is, that I can finally keep track of all the work related travel costs! I can also reuse old entries in case I am traveling to the same place more than once. This function saves a lot of time for me and usually all I have to change is the date of the travel.
