What I like best about Darktrace/Detect is its user-friendly and interactive interface, which makes it easy to investigate alerts and understand network activity. The platform is well-supported with responsive customer service, tutorials, blogs, and customer experience reviews, which help accelerate learning and adoption. What I dislike about Darktrace/Detect is that the initial setup and tuning require strong configuration and engineering skills. Without vendor support, organizations may need a large, skilled team to manage policies and integrations effectively. Piece of mind that comes with Dark Trace. Knowing Darktrace monitors network traffic for anomalies and provides peace of mind. If a network device begins talking to a rare IP address or is sending a significant amount of data to an unknown device, Darktrace alerts on it. Darktrace learns the behavioral pattern of users, systems, and network traffic. As a result, it can detect abnormal activity and take action against it or alert the SysAdmin. The solution does not rely on signatures of known threats. It provides a detailed analysis of the issue and summarizes the detection in an easy-to-understand description, and prescribes recommended action to take to resolve the issue. The GUI and system are smart, easy to understand, and clean. The front-end is a lot like interacting with a well-designed game or software. The system is deep enough that when not used or interacted with regularly, takes some time to get back to speed on it. Antigena occasionally requires human interaction (obviously during learning phases) and can throw false positives from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Darktrace provides insight into what is occurring on your network that would be very difficult to find otherwise. It becomes the lead member of your security team providing 24x7x365 protection. There is nothing to dislike, I have been using the product for almost 4 years and have seen the product grow and continually improve which reflects on the great team at Darktrace. I have not seen any product come close to what Darktrace can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whilst using Darktrace I was able to discover network based indicators of compromise that would otherwise not have been found using the logs from our tranditional SIEM tool.
